At the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam there is a vacancy for a PhD student within the research area of computational statistics. The intended starting date is flexible, but ideally around 1 October 2019.
The research project concerns the application of piecewise deterministic Monte Carlo techniques in Bayesian statistics and more generally in stochastic computation. For more information or to apply please contact Joris Bierkens (email@example.com). Your application should include your cv, a transcript of your grades, a sample of your written work such as a draft MSc thesis, and contact details for two references.
