1. Requesting Extra Time and Other Facilities

Students entitled to extra time during examinations should contact Mastermath at the start of their first semester. Requests for extra time must be submitted no later than October 1 for the autumn semester and March 1 for the spring semester.

Please send an email to contact@mastermath.nl  including the following details:

1.    Full name
2.    Student number & university
3.    Whether you require extra time and/or other facilities
4.    Whether these facilities are needed for the rest of your studies or only for the current semester
5.    Approval from your study advisor (this can be a signed statement or by adding the study advisor in CC so they can confirm via email)
6.    If you have a midterm, include the course name in your email. Midterm requests will be prioritized.
  

2. Recording Your Entitlement

We will record your entitlement to extra time and/or other facilities in your Mastermath ELO account. Requests are processed in bulk before November 1 (fall semester) and April 1 (spring semester).

3. Application to Courses

You will receive extra time for all courses you are enrolled in, including courses in future semesters if requested. If you decide to quit a course, please unenrol to ensure the extra time is not applied incorrectly. To unenrol: sign in to your Mastermath account, go to the course page, click the “More” tab at the top, and select Unenrol.

4. Exam arrangements

If a separate room is booked for an exam with extra time, this will be indicated in the schedule on the course page.

Please note: Due to scheduling constraints, in some cases extra time for certain exams may begin 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
